EXISTENCE

2016

Limits are the figment of,
An imagination,
Whose wings are bound,
By the expectations of a world,
Caught in a strife,
Of meeting its own agenda.

Inner whispers will build,
New wings,
With a strength,
Originating from a light,
Of regeneration,
Of renewal,
And not defiance.

And they will become callings,
That can never be
Bound,
Clipped,
Silenced
Or Stolen.

For they have evolved,
Through a process where,
The flight of their creations exists,
Because It is.

Without doubt,
And for no other reason.

IN A PLACE WHERE

2015

It doesn’t matter
If you don’t know who I am,
Or anything of what I do,
It doesn’t matter
What you think is yours to take,
Because it will never belong to you.

And I will keep on working,
From a place where my breath is born,
Where my labouring heart
Bears the fruit of sorrows and joys,
Where a restless wind
Soothes my stirring soul,
A place where the dainty glimmer
Of red poppies in a meadow,
Hidden between feathery strands
Of honey-coloured grass,
Lifts my spirit up to the sky,
In a captivating dance of delight.

You don’t need to know who I am,
You can’t take that which you cannot feel,
And I will keep working steadily,
In the silence of this treasured place,
Where I can breathe,
And I can dream,
Where you can never
Know me.

RESILIENCE

2018

A restless wind calls a spirit to fly
Through
An icy wasteland of unrealised
Dreams,
That were not her own.
To
Discover a strength,
That calls her
To begin.
Again.

OF LIFE

2016

Such a cherished day,
It is,
That begins with a thought,
Joyously swept away,
In a harmony
of
Beauty, Balance, Release and Adventure.
True companions of the soul,
Long-known and new,
United by happenstance,
And now,
Memories.
Serving as enduring,
Most treasured reminders,
Of the wonders that exist,
In gentle moments,
Where there is a
Sharing
of
Experiences,
and
Life,
Bringing forth an acceptance of self,
And a freedom to express,
The Whole-i-ness,
The vital nature,
Of spirit.

FEAR

2013

What is fear?
But the limitations of the mind.
The words of the ego.
Readily available,
Served on a silver platter,
With a pretty pink bow,
Tempting us to believe,
We can’t.
But the soul knows no such limits,
Its quiet voice of encouragement,
Gently leading us to
You can,
You will,
And you must.
What is fear?
But a reminder for us to listen.
And believe we can.
